Broccoli has long been considered as ‘’superfood’’ because of its high nutritional value. Broccoli is an edible green plant, comes from cabbage family. Morphology looks like our desi ‘’cauliflower’’ stained with green color. Broccoli is often boiled or steamed or can even be eaten raw. Broccoli belongs to the cruciferous family which also includes cabbage, cauliflower, brussel-sprouts, bok-choy and so on. You can simply sauté broccoli florets and stalks in butter or ghee on a high flame, add salt and pepper and you are good to go. It tastes yum too.

This compound also help patients suffering from arthritis by blocking enzyme which causes joint destruction and hence causes inflammation.
